Description

Head nurse at 10 vet 100% equine practice in Cambridgeshire

Fellowes Farm Equine Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our established and growing practice as the leader of our nursing division. Working along side our dedicated veterinary, administrative and nursing teams you will help to provide a first class service to our patients and clients.
We are a 10 vet equine only first opinion and referral practice in beautiful rural Cambridgeshire near Huntingdon. You will be based at our well equipped clinic with stabling for up to 13 horses. We have modern digital radiography, ultrasonography and endoscopy systems, full theatre facilities and nuclear scintigraphy on site. The clinic is lead by an RCVS Specialist in Equine Surgery, who is supported by RCVS Advanced Practitioners in Equine Practice, Medicine and Dentistry.
Ideally you will be an EVN or RVN with equine experience, but experienced non qualified veterinary nurses would also be considered. The ideal candidate will work well as an individual and as a nursing team leader, providing training to less experienced colleagues when required. You will be friendly, approachable, motivational and professional with staff and clients alike.
This is a full time position (8.30am-5.30pm, Monday – Friday) and includes an equal share of the ‘on call’ nursing rota. The rate of pay is dependent on experience.
Please telephone David Rutherford (clinic lead) or Mark Day (practice manager) to discuss the position on 01487 77333.
If you are a team player who has leadership skills, and the motivation and commitment to make a difference please send a CV and covering letter to fellowesfarmrecruitment@gmail.com.
